IT Department Objectives

Upgrading the institute's infrastructure and foundations to take advantage of the information revolution and enable rapid and effective access to information. This has already been achieved through the provision of software and hardware, the establishment of computer networks at the institute, linking the institute to the Egyptian universities network and electronic information sources to facilitate access to books, periodicals, and scientific research, and preparing the university community to deal with this revolution.

IT Department Tasks

- Directing and managing the development, implementation and follow-up of the Institute’s plan for information, communications and various systems in support of the goals that the Institute seeks to achieve - Providing all data security against loss or misuse - Providing the administrative information required to assist in effective decision-making - Providing training and technical support to users of the Institute’s information systems to ensure optimal use. - Training employees in IT Department to carry out their assigned responsibilities in accordance with established standards. - Monitoring and updating information systems, including computers, networks, and the institute’s website.
